  1. Citizens' Comments.  [The City Council invites citizens to speak to the Council on any topic not on the agenda or not already scheduled for Public Hearing. Prior to the meeting, please complete a "Public Meeting Appearance Card" and present it to the City Secretary. The time limit is three minutes per speaker, not to exceed a total of fifteen minutes for all speakers.]

Presentation of Proclamation by the Office of the Mayor:

  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Joe and Kate Lundgren, Cutting Edge Pediatric Theraphy, Proclaiming April 2, 2014, as Autism Awareness Day.

Presentation of the Planning and Zoning Commission's Annual Report by Jeff Cocking, Chairperson.

Approve Minutes of the March 11, 2014, Regular Meeting.

Award Bid and Authorize the City Manager to Execute the Purchase of Medical Supplies in a Total Annual Amount Not to Exceed $101,000, with the Option for Four, One-Year Renewals with American Poly, BoundTree Medical, Henry Schein Matrix Medical, Kentron Healthcare, Life Assist, Midwest Medical Supply and Moore Medical Supply.

 
  6.

Authorize the City Manager to Execute Contracts for the Purchase and Delivery of Fuel for the City of Allen Service Center in a Total Annual Amount Not to Exceed $805,000, with the Option for Three, One-Year Renewals with Martin Eagle Oil Company, TAC Energy and Douglass Distributing Transportation Company.

 
  7.

Receive the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Status Reports.

 
  8.

Receive the Summary of Property Tax Collections as of February 2014.

Conduct a Public Hearing and Adopt an Ordinance to Amend the Development Regulations of PD No. 108, District H to Allow an Assisted Living/Memory Care Use and Adopt a Concept Plan, Landscape Plan and Building Elevations for a 5.154± Acre Property Located North of Exchange Parkway and East of Bossy Boots Drive. [Twin Creeks Assisted Living]

Consider All Matters Incident and Related to the Issuance and Sale of City of Allen, Texas, Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2014, Including the Adoption of an Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of Such Bonds, Establishing the Parameters for the Sale, Appointing Pricing Officers, and Delegating Certain Matters to Authorized City Officials.
