  1. Citizens' Comments.  [The City Council invites citizens to speak to the Council on any topic not on the agenda or not already scheduled for Public Hearing. Prior to the meeting, please complete a "Public Meeting Appearance Card" and present it to the City Secretary. The time limit is three minutes per speaker, not to exceed a total of fifteen minutes for all speakers.]

Presentation of Proclamations by the Office of the Mayor:

  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Coach Jerry Best and the Allen High School Wrestling Team Proclaiming 2012 as the "Allen Eagles Wrestling Team Year."

  • Presentation of a Proclamation to the Allen Americans Proclaiming April 2012 as "Allen Americans Month." 
 
Consent Agenda.  [Routine Council business. Consent Agenda is approved by a single majority vote. Items may be removed for open discussion by a request from a Councilmember or member of staff.]
 
  3. Approve Minutes of the February 28, 2012, Regular Meeting.

Adopt an Ordinance Approving and Enacting Supplement No. 8 to the Code of Ordinances.

Adopt a Resolution Authorizing the City Manager to Apply for a North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) Regional Solid Waste Program Grant for Implementation of a Start-up Recycling Program at the Allen Event Center.
 
  6.

Receive the Summary of Property Tax Collections as of February 2012.
 
  7. Receive the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Status Reports.
