The time limit is three minutes per speaker, not to exceed a total of fifteen minutes for all speakers.]

Presentation of the Parks and Recreation Board's Annual Report by Chairperson Tricia Losavio.

Presentation of the Public Art Committee's Annual Report by Chairperson Steve Benson.

Presentation of Proclamations by the Office of the Mayor:

  • Proclamation to the Parks and Recreation Department Proclaiming July 2018 as "Parks and Recreation Month."

Approve Minutes of the June 25, 2018, Special Called Meeting of the Allen City Council to Canvass of the General Runoff Election held on June 16, 2018.

Approve Minutes of the June 26, 2018, Regular City Council Meeting.

Authorize the City Manager to Purchase Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure for the Data Center from EST Group through the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Agreement for an Amount of $249,491.

Adopt a Resolution Amending the City's Investment Policy Governing the Investment of Municipal Funds.

Conduct a Public Hearing and Adopt an Ordinance for Specific Use Permit No. 164 for a Medical Clinic Use for an Approximate 3,987± Square Foot Portion of a Building Generally Located South of McDermott Drive and East of U.S. Highway 75. [American Family Care - Medical Office Use]

Conduct a Public Hearing and Adopt an Ordinance to Amend the Development Regulations of Planned Development No. 129 Corridor Commercial by Amending the Concept Plan, Screening Plan, and Building Elevations Relating to Lot 2-R-1-R, Block A, Allen Commerce Center Addition; Generally Located North of Allen Commerce Parkway and West of U.S. Highway 75. [Data Center Use - DFW II Compass Data Center]

Consider all Matters Incident and Related to the Issuance and Sale of City of Allen, Texas, General Obligation Bonds, Series 2018, Including the Adoption of an Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of Such Bonds, Establishing Parameters for the Sale and Issuance of Such Bonds and Delegating Certain Matters to Authorized Officials of the City.

Consider all Matters Incident and Related to the Issuance and Sale of City of Allen, Texas, Waterworks & Sewer System Revenue Bonds (WW&SS), Series 2018, Including the Adoption of an Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of Such Bonds, Establishing Parameters for the Sale and Issuance of Such Bonds and Delegating Certain Matters to Authorized Officials of the City.
